The KeyTec® TR-FRET HX2-conjugated Goat anti-Mouse IgG antibody (Goat pAb anti-Mouse IgG Fc) is designed for use in TR-FRET assay development. Taking an antibody screening model as an example: when the binding between Biotinylated Antigen A and Mouse IgG Antibody B needs to be detected, the KeyTec® TR-FRET Solar Eu1-conjugated Streptavidin and the KeyTec® TR-FRET HX*2-conjugated anti-Mouse IgG antibody are brought into proximity due to antigen-antibody binding. Upon excitation by an external light source, energy resonance transfer (FRET) occurs between the donor and acceptor, and specific signals can be read at 665 nm. The intensity of this specific signal is proportional to the affinity strength of the antigen-antibody interaction. This type of assay model can be used to compare the binding affinities of different antibodies against a given antigen.
