The KeyTec® TR-FRET Bright Eu1-conjugated mouse monoclonal anti-GST tag antibody (Mouse mAb anti-GST tag) can be used for constructing TR-FRET assay systems. Taking a protein–protein interaction (PPI) detection model as an example, when assessing the interaction between a GST-tagged protein A and a His-tagged protein B, the KeyTec® TR-FRET Bright Eu1-conjugated anti-GST antibody and the KeyTec® TR-FRET LA*2-conjugated anti-His antibody are brought into proximity due to the protein interaction. Upon excitation by an external light source, the donor enables energy resonance transfer (FRET) to the acceptor, generating a specific signal measured at 665 nm. The intensity of this signal is directly proportional to the degree of protein–protein interaction. Such models are suitable for screening inhibitors or blockers (compounds, antibodies, etc.) of protein–protein interactions.
