KeyTec® TR-FRET Human IFNγ Detection Kit can be used to measure the expression level of Human IFNγ in samples such as cell culture supernatants. This kit is a sandwich immunoassay developed based on KeyTec® TR-FRET technology, featuring simplicity, rapidity, high specificity, high sensitivity, and good reproducibility.
The basic principle of this method is illustrated in the figure below. A pair of specific antibodies are separately conjugated with the fluorescence energy donor Solar Eu and the fluorescence energy acceptor LA. When the two antibodies bind to different epitopes of the Human IFNγ protein, energy resonance transfer occurs between the donor and acceptor upon excitation by an external light source. The level of Human IFNγ protein can be determined by detecting the signal intensity at a specific wavelength (665 nm).
